New York Based Live Event Production Company, RDZ production Group, LLC, Brings Hip Hop Element to 2007 Business Opportunity Expo
(New York, NY) RDZ Production Group, a subsidiary of RoaDDoggZ Productions, LLC will host the Welcome Reception of the 2007 New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council Business Opportunity Expo (BOE). The two day event will occur on June 11- June 12, 2007 at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel.
The Council’s theme for this year is, “MBEs: The Empowering Core of Corporate America,” will feature over 700 executives from New York and New Jersey’s top minority-owned businesses. Now in its ninth year, the expo has been instrumental in providing Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and corporations opportunities to connect through seminars, workshops and interactive networking activities. The BOE is considered New York City’s largest conference on Fortune 500 corporations outsourcing to minority businesses.
In keeping with the entertainment theme, “Summer in New York,” RDZ production Group presents, “Summer in New York 1990s with Hip-Hop in the parks.”This opening reception will feature live performances from legendary hip hop pioneers, Chubb Rock, Dana Dane, DJ Whiz and Beatboxer Entertainment.
Recognizing the powerful influence of Hip Hop music in the corporate arena, RDZ brought together these music legends to showcase positive examples of the pioneers in Hip Hop and to assist in facilitating business relationships between old school Hip-Hop artists and corporations.
Once dismissed as a passing musical phase, the Hip Hop culture has penetrated traditional corporate America. Thanks to Hip Hop entrepreneurs such as Jay Z and Russell Simmons, just to name a few, corporate America has come to recognize the substantial financial impact and influence of Hip Hop.
“With the recent negative publicity concerning hip hop music and lyrics today, we felt that it was important to showcase some of the pioneers of Hip Hop that have provided positive influences in the music industry. Often we forget that these artists are entrepreneurs, excellent spokespersons, and have strong brand recognition. RDZ production Group wants to provide these artists with opportunities to connect with corporations on a more substantial level,” said Jennifer Young CEO of RDZ production Group.
RDZ production Group, a live event production company was created as a subsidiary of award wining film/video Company RoaDDoggZ productions, LLC. The company provides corporate event planning, event production and project event management delivering comprehensive, event management solutions designed to leave lasting impressions.

The Welcome Reception attendees will not only be treated to great music from Hip-Hop pioneers, but they will have the unique opportunity to interact with the artists, share photos and even learn to beatbox like recent American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis, courtesy of Beatboxer Entertainment.
To create lasting memories beyond the event, RDZ created the Mobile Screen Pix™ solution. Mobile Screen Pix™ uses photos taken during the event and displays them on the projectors and plasma screens throughout the reception area in a branded frame. Additionally, the photos are uploaded to a co-branded website where the participants can download their photo; send their photo as an e-card to other people or upload photo images to their mobile or PDA devices and use them as wallpaper. Mobile Screen Pix™ was successfully implemented during this year’s Seagram’s Live Tour.
In addition, guests will have an opportunity to showcase their lip syncing abilities at the Council Idol Live event. Participants will be judged by digital versions of American Idol judges. The video of the performances will then be uploaded to a co-branded website where performances can be viewed, emailed or placed on another website.
The NY & NY Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc.
